Miss Banks Tutoring was founded on the belief that every child can shine. Guided by our four core values - Everyone Can Shine, Keep Trying Keep Learning, Be Kind Be Helpful, Believe in Yourself- we create an inclusive and encouraging environment where pupils aged 7–11 can build skills, confidence, and independence. All of this happens from the comfort of their own home through engaging, online learning.
I bring over 8 years of experience as a Year 6 teacher and senior leader, working in a diverse range of primary schools and supporting pupils with a variety of needs. My own education began at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School, followed by a BA Honours degree in English Literature and Language, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and a PGCE. I have also achieved the NPQSL (National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership). This background gives me both the subject expertise and the understanding of how to help children succeed academically and personally.
Our aim is to empower every child to reach their potential, not just in exams but in life. By blending expert teaching with our values-led approach, we nurture curiosity, resilience, kindness, and self-belief - preparing children to thrive now and in the future.
